About the Project
The MBTW Group was retained to design the Ridge View Park in the West Holland Landing Community. The park included a senior softball field, junior and senior playgrounds, waterplay, shade structure, fitness equipment, tennis/ pickleball courts, multi-use court (basketball), lit walkways, site furnishings and tree plantings. Due to the steep topography across the park block, extensive grading and cut and fill calculations were required for efficient earthworks. Outdoor classrooms/ amphitheatres were created for students attending the adjacent school blocks.
